Over the past few months, Pastis Enterprises has gone through a quiet but meaningful transformation — one that reflects how my business has grown, how my clients prefer to work, and how I want my digital presence to feel. Today, I’m excited to share the story behind the new redesign and what it means for the future.

We Moved to a New Server — and Simplified Everything

The first big change happened behind the scenes: Pastis Enterprises moved to a new hosting environment. The old server had served me well for years, but it was time for something faster, cleaner, and more aligned with the way I support my clients.

The move gave me the perfect opportunity to rethink the tools I was using — especially the ones that had become more complicated than helpful.

• We Rebranded With Warmth, Clarity, and Purpose

With the technical move complete, I turned my attention to the part everyone can see: the website itself.

The old design had grown over time, and while it worked, it didn’t fully express the warmth, accessibility, and one-on-one support that define Pastis Enterprises. So I rebuilt the site from the ground up with a new visual identity:

• warm, earthy tones
• clean typography
• accessible layouts
• a more human-centered voice
• clearer explanations of what I do and how I work

This redesign isn’t just a new coat of paint — it’s a reflection of the way I approach every project: with care, clarity, and craftsmanship.

We Retired WHMCS — Because It Was More Than We Needed

For years, Pastis Enterprises used WHMCS as a billing and ordering system. It’s a powerful tool, but it’s built for companies that run large automated storefronts, sell dozens of products, and rely on ticket queues.

That’s not who I am — and it’s not how my clients work.

My business is built on relationships, not transactions. My clients are local, loyal, and prefer to talk to a real human. They come to me directly for setup, renewals, changes, and support. They don’t need a ticketing system, and they don’t need an automated ordering portal.

So with the server move, I made a decision that feels much more aligned with my values:

I retired WHMCS entirely.

Instead, I now handle renewals, billing, and support personally — the same way I always have. It’s simpler, clearer, and more human. And it removes a layer of complexity that neither I nor my clients ever truly needed.
