Pastis Enterprises was approached by the Executive Director of the Lindsay Chamber of Commerce by a simple plea: "Help!". The existing Chamber's website was ancient, stale, and didn't offer its members any way of interacting with the Chamber. It was hosted on an old server that was incapable of being upgraded, so we started from scratch. We moved their site to our own server, and created a site with full interaction for its members. The site design allows members to network on their own forum, each member has a directory page in which they can edit as often as they like. Members have a "Facebook-like" account, connecting with other business leaders which gives them a personal experience. The site also provides a landing point for prospective residents and incoming businesses to learn all about their new community. The Chamber website provides a community and chamber calendar, community news, and online forms for businesses.
We designed the site, installed the software, and provide the content guided by the Chamber staff and board. As with all of the sites we host, we provide regular software updates and content updates.
In addition to web service, we also work with the Chamber on their other IT needs, we have created a eBlast newsletter template, phone subscription program, and educational classes for its members.
